SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

 

Here at Badger Mountain Moonshine Company, we believe in the responsible consumption of our product by customers who are of legal drinking age. We carefully craft our spirits to be enjoyed in moderation and encourage safe consumption by an adult audience. Should they choose to drink, discouraging abusive consumption, underage drinking, and drinking and or then driving.

Since we believe that responsibility must start with us, our internal marketing guidelines further our goals to encourage responsible consumption as we grow our brand across global markets.

BMMC79 marketing guidelines include such restrictions as only featuring models and actors over the legal drinking age with valid photo identification. This includes a social responsibility statement in any advertisement or marketing piece produced by the company where practicable. We avoid the use of images or music which would appeal to underage individuals. We monitor user-generated content on our Social Media accounts every business week (at a minimum), and adhere to a strict privacy policy to protect the identity and information of our customers, who “opt-in” to any of our advertising, events or contests.

Additionally, our advertising and marketing are placed in broadcast, cable, radio, print, and internet/digital communications only where at least a large percent of the audience is reasonably expected to be of legal purchase age (determined by using reliable, up-to-date audience composition data).

In no event do we allow any advertising or marketing materials to depict individuals in states of intoxication, associate consumption of our product with performing potentially dangerous activities such as operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or participating in hazardous athletic activities. No claims are made that would indicate that our product has any medicinal or magical properties.

Our commitment to social responsibility and promoting safe consumption of our products begins with us and affects our friends and communities. It is a responsibility we do not take lightly. We encourage those adults who wish to enjoy our products to do so - in moderation, responsibly, and safely.
